Movement designed with chronic illness + wellness in mind

Welcoming you to a movement space you can come home to while navigating the ebbs and flows of chronic illness and/or meeting your athletic goals.
My goal is to give you as much support as you need to be your healthiest and strongest self. Together we will unlock nutrition, Pilates and MELT movement tools that can help everything from navigating flares to getting into the best shape of your life.

Move

Movers, athletes and non-athletes! We will replicate movement from your desired activity, goal, and/or sport to build muscle endurance and injury prevention. Bringing you to the brink of muscle failure is key to building strength, so get ready to shake, tremble, and sweat! Do not think my kind heartedness means I am going to go easy on you :)

Heal

To my fellow chronic illness movers! My personalized approach toward building strength is to prioritize your nervous system and monitor your adrenals first. This is the key to minimizing flares that often happen from pushing too hard. I take factors like your current energy level, stress level, and sleep into account before determining how hard we are going to push that day. Every session is uniquely tailored to optimize movement and minimize flares. We will work together to shift away from chronic pain symptoms, learn how to use food to reduce pain, and redefine how it feels to be in your body. The body can heal with time and patience and I will be your biggest cheerleader along the way.

Nourish

How much of what we do in our day actually nourishes us? Learn what trendy food traps to stay away from, how to bias building muscle, and fun tips and tricks to complement our movement journey together (hint: some of it may surprise you!)

Coming from an athletic background including gymnastics, soccer, surfing and dance, my passion for movement led me to earn a B.A. in Dance. Having studied Pilates to prevent/alleviate injuries, and nutrition to heal my chronic illness symptoms that hit in my 30s, it was a natural transition for me to pursue a career in health and learn how to help people feel the best in their bodies.

My certifications and first hand experience with athletic training and chronic illness make me a unique and compassionate movement professional. I use my movement expertise in MELT Method and NKT to re-establish and strengthen neural pathways as well as Pilates to strengthen muscles; all of which address chronic pain concerns. This tailored approach means our sessions will be gentle enough to get chronic illness clients stronger without triggering adrenals (going into flares), and challenging enough to make any athlete beg for mercy.
